dd, chocolate/peanut butter candy edition

As I was trolling* through the grocery store (because that's what I do at 8pm on a Thursday night) I walked down the candy aisle with the intent of buying a large bag of peanut butter M&M's...and they were on sale! I call that fate. While eating them before my dinner I got to thinking about how much I love the chocolate/peanut butter combination. The result: a list, in order, of the best chocolate/peanut butter candy out there.

1. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. No contest. (The special holiday ones are the best because they have so much peanut butter! And, they are the best in this order: Easter egg, Christmas tree, Halloween pumpkin.)
2. Peanut Butter M&M's.
3. 5th Avenue. A less known candy bar, but seriously good.
4. Reese's Pieces (Although do these count? I don't think there's chocolate in them.)

Did I miss any? (I'm talking just pure chocolate and peanut butter here.)

Yummmmmm.

*Yes, trolling. As in fishing. I literally mosey up and down each aisle, browse, and pick up whatever I feel like (within reason). It's therapeutic.

How have I never had the Halloween pumpkin?!? I really dislike Reese's Pieces but I feel that Nutrageous should be on your list, it's OK that they have peanuts, right??

What about fake peanut butter? Not gonna lie that I kinda like Butterfingers...

"Crispety, crunchety, peanut buttery Butterfinger"

I just have to add that Easter peanut butter M&M's beat out all regular peanut butter candy, hands down. They are massive in size and that peanut buttery goodness is to die for. But since they are available only once a year, I agree with your list.

I would through in Nutrageous for sure. And have you ever tried Soy Delicious Peanut Butter and Chocolate Ice Cream. It is surprisingly amazing.
